Misti Perez is the owner-operator of Backyard Arboriculture. Misti became a Certified Arborist in 2005 while living on Oahu, Hawaii, and came back to her home state of Texas in 2011, where she obtained the Tree Risk Assessment Qualification and the Oak Wilt Qualification, from ISA Texas Chapter. Misti volunteered with the ISA Texas Chapter for a decade prior to being hired as a staff member for three years, helping others become Certified Arborists and giving back to the Texas tree care community. Misti formed her company, Backyard Arboriculture, in 2017 and is proud to offer consulting services to tree owners in Texas, by continuing to foster the arboriculture community with her passion for trees and the environment. Backyard Arboriculture offers fully insured consulting services in Travis and Williamson counties in Texas.
